Avoid red wine stains - decanting without drops

NO DROP EFFECT almost completely prevents the formation of drops at the rim of the glass. As a result, no drops of red wine will run down the outside of the carafe. This guarantees perfect stain protection of the decanter and the tablecloth! The no drop effect is based on a special treatment of the glass which permanently prevents drops from running down the outside of Eisch decanters and carafes.

When pouring: please take care that the wine flows calmly and uniformly to achieve an optimum no drop effect.

Cleaning: the non drop effect will keep its unlimited effectiveness if you avoid strong scrubbing in the coated area and do not clean the decanter in the dishwasher. After handwashing the surface treated area must be carefully cleaned with clear water in order to avoid any detergent deposits (ideally just use clear water for cleaning decanter or use decanter cleaning beads). Then wipe dry with a soft cloth or dry on a decanter stand.

The art of decanting ensures a wines surface comes in contact with the air inside the decanter, helping to integrate the wine, softening its youthful tannic bite, astringency and acidity, encouraging the development of more complex aromas and balanced flavours that would normally develop with more time in the bottle.
