TIP: Nuts, like for example almonds and Brazil nuts, are often very hard to crack. Put the nut vertically over the two rows of teeth in order that these teeth will be in contact with the connecting line between the two halves of the nutshell. When cracking smaller nuts, eg Hazelnuts, crack the nut on one of the row of teeth only.
