Malmaison Caviar Server

The silver-plated handle is in the Malmaison motif. The bowl of the spoon is made of horn which unlike serving with a metal utensil, helps preserve caviar’s natural flavor. One of Christofle's most historic patterns, Malmaison exemplifies the Empire style, with its frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and symmetry. The name is a nod to the Chateau de la Malmaison, a favored Parisian residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine. It is also the only line that includes caviar serving pieces.
